Construction Begins in LandTech’s Coatbridge Community
Model Now Open for Touring!
BLYTHEWOOD, S.C., March 30, 2017 – LandTech, Inc. is excited to announce that Ryan Homes has begun new home construction in Coatbridge, a 40-acre community located just outside the town limits of Blythewood, S.C. The Ryan Homes’ model home is now open and ready for touring.
This exciting new community is planned to include 100 residential homesites, as well as a variety of amenities homeowners are sure to enjoy! These will include a community swimming pool with cabana, a fishing pond, walking trails, pocket parks, and a green space with a gazebo. Great schools are another benefit of owning a home in Coatbridge. The community will be served by the award-winning Richland School District Two, with students attending Round Top Elementary School, Blythewood Middle School (within walking distance), and Blythewood High School.
Coatbridge is being designed using sustainable, green community development concepts known as Low Impact Development (LID). In addition to reducing environmental impacts on surrounding natural areas, LID design also aims to reduce the costs of expensive stormwater management structures for municipalities and homeowner associations.
Homebuilders will include Ryan Homes, a division of the national homebuilder NVR; Fortress Builders, one of the Midlands’ fastest-growing homebuilders; and, beginning in the 2nd quarter of 2018, DR Horton, America’s largest homebuilder. Prices will start in the mid $200s.
Coatbridge is located at the intersection of Rimer Pond Road and Longtown Road, across the street from Blythewood Middle School and approximately 5 miles from I-77 in Blythewood.
