LandTech soon to break ground on Lexington’s Kensington development
LEXINGTON, S.C., October 12, 2020 — LandTech has recently acquired a 5-acre tract of land on Old Cherokee Road in beautiful Lexington County, and will soon break ground on the development of a 36-unit townhome community on the property.
The project infrastructure is expected to be complete in the summer of 2021 with townhome construction starting shortly thereafter. The community will be known as Kensington and will feature homes built exclusively by Eastwood Homes, a privately held homebuilder with a proven track record in the Carolinas. Kensington will offer homebuyers a variety of floorplans and custom options, with townhomes starting from the $200’s.
Families in Kensington will be served by the award-winning Lexington School District 1 schools, and will be zoned for New Providence Elementary, Beechwood Middle and Lexington High School.
