Jim joined LandTech in October of 2005, bringing over 30 years of professional experience in the construction, engineering and land development industries. Jim's extensive experience as a Project Manager, Operations Manager, an Owner's Representative and owner of a consulting business ranges from the renovation and restoration of historic buildings to the construction of correctional and food manufacturing facilities, retail/shopping centers, schools, performing arts centers and residential land development. Jim started his career at 12 years of age working in the family business building custom homes. That experience was followed with studies at the University of Florida culminating with a Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Science. Jim's career has taken him from Florida to Boston and ultimately to South Carolina. It includes work in 16 states and represents over a billion of dollars of construction and development. Jim will use his breadth of experience to manage development activities for LandTech. This will include managing the consulting engineers and contractors working for LandTech, interfacing with governing agencies, securing permits to construct, permits to operate and in every respect take our projects from land acquisition to the start of home construction.
